I AM, HE SAID
A Celebration of the Music of Neil Diamond
Starring Matt Vee & The Killer Vees
Hello, Fall!
Hey there, friends,
The leaves are turning, the sweaters are coming out, and I can finally wear the sparkly shirt without melting under the lights. Fall has always been one of my favorite seasons on the road, and this one's shaping up to be a good one. Grab a warm cup of something and let me catch you up.
What a Year So Far
What a year it's been out on the road! Since January, The Killer Vees and I have played 36 shows across 10 states, and every single night you made it feel like a homecoming.
We kicked off 2026 in Texas with nights in Brenham, Crockett, and Mount Pleasant, then headed to the legendary Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake, Iowa for the Winter Dance Party alongside Chris Montez and Brian Hyland. Talk about a bucket-list night.
Late winter took us south for a sunny Florida run: Lake Worth, Jacksonville (with our special guests, the Ritz Voices), Bonita Springs, Port Charlotte, Palm Coast, Clearwater, and Miami. Then spring rolled us through Cedarburg, Wausau, and Brussels, Wisconsin, Warren, Michigan, Fairfield, Iowa, Overland Park, Kansas, and the Cornell Complex in Joplin, Missouri.
Summer was a blast: Killer Country nights in Welch, MN and Northwood, ND, Summertime By George! in St. Cloud, a Fourth-of-July weekend party at Joetown Rocks 2026 in Joe Glenwood, St. Michael, Arnolds Park, and Fergus Falls. And September kept us busy with Food du Lac, St. Patrick's CountryFest in Oak Grove, Rock 4 Alzheimers back in St. Joseph, and a big final weekend in Sioux Falls, Burnsville, and Tyler, MN.
To everyone who sang along, stood up, and shouted "bah, bah, bah" right on cue: thank you. You're the reason we do this.
Come See Us
If we're coming anywhere near you, I'd love to see your face out there. Bring your family, bring your friends, bring the neighbor who swears they don't know the words to "Sweet Caroline" (they do). And if we're not in your town yet, let your local theatre know you want us there!
Visit MattVee.comThanks for being part of this crazy, wonderful ride. See you down front!
